This is an exploration in white…who knew there were so many whites?? Transparent mixing white, pearl white, titanium white, zinc, titan buff, etc….so many words for white! Speaking of words, what is your word for 2025?? Mine is ‘receive’!

This is a detailed shot of a recent pour. Using a mix of materials as usual, including alcohol ink which reacts to the regular acrylic paint. Look at the top of the photo, it kind of wrinkles. And check out the pearl mica flakes in there (on the left)!

Here is a wider shot of the same painting. Love the gold background-makes the white pop. Have more work to do on this one but getting there. Along with 2 other 5 foot paintings, the studio is full of energy! Follows the studio motto for 2025, ‘Be steadfast, and do not fear’. I’m going for it in 2025! Woohoo!
