WHAT A BLAST!
THE CROWD
What a blast! The opening was hugely successful and thank you to all who attended to help me celebrate the residency. I was so excited to share a few new paintings plus other paintings I had already completed. It is always such a strange, wonderful feeling to see the work up on a wall with lighting and enough room to see the work. A treat!
GO BIG OR GO HOME
If you didn’t get to go to the opening celebration and would like to see the show you are more than welcome to stop by. The Gallery space is tucked behind the Bite restaurant on the 4th floor. The show will be open to the public anytime the Bite restaurant is open and there are no events booked. The current hours for the bite are: Mon-Fri 6:30am-11am, Sat/Sun 6:30am-12pm, and every night for dinner from 5-10pm. Not open for lunch right now but I hear that might change. Or feel free to reach out to me for a private tour!
THE SHOW
The idea of the residency is to activate this beautiful space. I don’t know how many times I heard from people at the opening that said “I didn’t even know this space was here and I’ve been to this hotel a million times!’ That is exactly why they wanted to have this residency happen. If you are in need of space for an event, this is a great place to have it.The team and staff at Hotel Murano are awesome!
