WEIRD AND WONDERFUL
BLUE
I’ve been working on this painting for awhile now and really love the funky way the paint is working on the surface. This is a detail shot, really close up. Wet over dry. I’ve got fiberglass mixed in with the gesso and it is creating fabulous texture. The entire painting is just 2 colors. That fabulous periwinkle blue and a dark blue that is actually a dye for fabric. Ohh lala!!
ORANGE
Using this weird and wonderful color combination-gold acrylic paint and tangerine alcohol ink…this is also a detail shot although its wet into wet. I do have a video of this pour on social media if you want to see what it does. The alcohol ink fizzes! It also creates a fabulous texture when it dries.
