MAGENTA IS SO POWERFUL
For this pour I’m using a magenta, really watered down but it still is very powerful! Such a strong color-its beautiful! I’ve been layering this one for some time now. It’s getting there. Hopefully I will have it done next week to hang in the TCC Art Gallery/Salon Artist Exhibition. Cross your fingers and come see the finished painting (along with a few other paintings) Oct 21st for the reception! Save the date, details to come.
GREY MATTER
This is a different color palette for me. There are loads of colors in it but they are similar, just enough to give it some dimension. It has beautiful, crusty, layered texture and details that show up in the right light! This one you can see in person at the Tacoma Studio Tours Oct 17th & 18th, from 11-5pm. And I am looking for volunteers to help me with door duty. If you have an hour to share, let me know!
TITLE PLEASE
A request. I am completing new paintings for the tour but now I need to give them titles. My least favorite job. I will of course leave one painting for visitors to title at the studio but this one needs a title right now. Whatcha got?
