POURING MY HEART OUT
METALLICS
Pouring my heart out right now and loving the metallics! This bronze pour is over black gesso mixed with cracked walnut shells. This painting is one of 3-5 foot paintings on the studio floor right now. So excited to be working this big! And I have walls big enough to put them-stay tuned for news on my next big show, first quarter of 2025.
EMBOSSING POWDER
Check this wild texture out. I am playing with embossing powder again. It seems to lay on top of the paint, but it’s sticking. I’ve also used clear tar gel in the layering. This is a detailed shot of another of the 5 foot paintings I am working on.
SPRINKLE
This is the first pour on a smaller painting. Still wet. More metallic, of course. Gold mixed with green & yellow. Sprinkled with cracked walnut shells.
