Poured on, literally!
OLD BUILDING, OLD PIPES
Yeah. So this happened. Another water leak at the back end of the studio. Whoa…wait a minute, 2 water leaks! Yes you heard that right. One was fixed in the morning and the 2nd one popped up in the evening, of the exact same day. 2 totally separate and unrelated leaks. Woohoo! Fortunately no paintings or anything else damaged from either leak. I’m going to play the lottery!
TEMPORARY STUDIO
So I tip my hat to the property managers of this old building-what a job! Love love love them! They are so good and I am so lucky to have secured a temporary studio space in the building while mine is getting dried out. And with a glorious window! Funny how painting in a different space gives you different ideas.
TACOMA STUDIO TOURS
Save the dates Oct 12th & 13th!!! Well, at least I hope to have my studio back by then-cross your fingers! I’ve been working in the temporary studio on new smaller works just for the tour. And of course there will be treats of all sorts-you gotta come by! More details to come.
My solo show is up until the end of the month at the Barlow Gallery in Tacoma (1328 Market St). Happy to meet you there if you want! Check out the hours on their website here: https://barlowgallery.com/
