My dear friend and mentor, Camille Patha and I attended an artist talk this month at Juan Alonso Rodriguez’s studio. It is always so interesting to visit another artist’s studio, hear their words, see their work and their process. I am inspired by Juan’s work, his work ethic and depth of play….he is amazing! A true pleasure to be around him. Camille & I also walked around to a few galleries, talked shop, had a bite to eat and enjoyed the hell out of each other. Time with Camille is truly such a joy.
The Ledger Square show came down this month and was re-installed with even more paintings, in another office space in the building where my studio is located. The property manager of the building moved their office from the 1st floor to the 3rd floor, into bigger office space. Plenty of wall space!!
Grateful-it’s a wonderful reminder this month to be grateful. I am grateful for my family, all of the opportunities I have and will have, my studio, my tribe, a roof over my head, food. I don’t take any of these things for granted. Being grateful gives you great perspective. Hats off to November!!!
