Playing around with backgrounds-getting my hands in there creating fantastic texture! This is a detailed, close up of the texture. It has a visual and physical texture. There will be more layers like this, on top. Then I’ll start to pour on top of the texture…oohhlala!!!
MARGARITA
Love this green that was just poured….its appropriately called ‘Margarita’! I’ve mentioned this before but I’ll say it again, I enjoy finding colors that are not from a professional art store. This came to me in a box as a donation (I get that a lot!) that had craft paint not even opened. They just wanted to get rid of all the paint. Sometimes there is treasure and sometimes not. This is definitely a treasure!
NINE
It’s April! This month & year marks 9 years in this studio. 9 glorious years of painting, spilled paint, and experimenting with materials. 9 fantastic years of parties, celebrations, openings, guests & visitors. 9 years of breakthroughs and heartbreaks. I am ever so grateful for this space. Looking forward to many more years of fabulousness!
