Still painting the commission for Percival Plaza…about halfway there!  Cannot wait to see this project hanging in the building with the other paintings.

Took a short trip to the ocean with friends this month.  What a joy! I can’t get enough of the ocean-it is so peaceful.  Had great scenery, great food and even better company.

Celebrated Mother’s Day with my family.  Of course there were Mimosas involved…..love spending time with my people.  They fill me up!

I have an upcoming show at a venue in Tacoma-Ledger Square Law.  Save the date July 18th for the opening! Their office is beautiful and they have big walls. I will have a six footer hanging!

Attended an art event at the Washington State History Museum presented by the UW of Tacoma.  Scholarly Selections: From Emily Dickinson to Lucinda Williams: Women speaking truth to power through Poetry and Music.  A UW Tacoma Senior Lecturer presented her work on a new book she is writing, examining the connection with poetry & music, lyrics and Americana music.  Title to be determined. It is a fascinating idea and I enjoyed the lecture immensely.
