Make Hay While the Sun Shines
Making Hay
Making hay is a beautiful thing. Love this view at my Dad’s place. The phrase ‘Make hay while the sun shines’ comes from the idea of making the most of one’s opportunities while you have the chance. So I’m making hay while the sun is out. People who live in the NW know this to be true. Hope you & your family are well and enjoying the summer. Looking forward to seeing you sometime soon!
Current State of Affairs
So this happened. I love my studio. I love the historical building where my studio is located. With any building comes water incidents. I had one of those. Only minor damage but drywall had to be replaced which means, currently, I can’t paint. I decided to put that energy to work on my business. I’ve got a new website brewing. Printed materials in the works. Exciting things are happening in the background. And the repairs are almost done. I will get the studio back soon!
Woohoo!
It’s my birthday month! I was hoping to celebrate with you in the studio during the July 3rd Thursday art walk in Tacoma however we continue to have restrictions on gathering. No more than 5 people at a time can gather. Maybe August? In the meantime I will be celebrating with you in mind-cheers!!
