BLUEPRINTS
A friend has sent me several sets of commercial & residential blueprints from the 50’s & 60’s. They were going to be tossed but she saved them and shared them! Love the blue. Starting to use them in a series of rust backgrounds and other mixed media. This particular painting has collaged pieces of the dimensions of the ‘Phone Booth’!!! Phone booth? I will date myself if Isay I know what a phone booth is…..
NEW WORK
Taking photos again this month in the studio. So easy with a good camera-love it. The right tools as they say. Thanks Dad! You will see this painting on my website. Check it out and a few other new ones!
WINTER WALK
Love that I live in the PNW. We don’t get a lot of snow but we recently had a storm that dropped over a foot of snow in Tacoma, even higher amount in other cities. Had to take a walk! Wright Park was full of laughter, happiness, beautiful trees & of course The Fisherman’s Daughter statue. So nice to see people enjoying the outdoors. Masks and social distancing were easily maintained. A beautiful day. Sending love your way in this wintry February.
