December 2018

As a City of Fife Public Art Commissioner, I get to participate in fun events.  At the tree lighting ceremony early this month, the arts commission sponsored the Dickens Carolers!  There were 4 singers dressed in Victorian clothes singing Christmas carols. They were fantastic! It added such a nice touch to the event.  The tree was lite, Santa arrived on the fire truck, cookies and candy canes were eaten, the carols were sung by all-it was a festive evening!

My daughter arrived from San Diego for the holidays.  I had both of my kids and my Dad with me at Christmas.  It was a peaceful Christmas. A nice meal we all participated in and shared.  Grateful to have my family together.

I was busy in the studio between all the festivities.  I’ve got 5 paintings in various stages-1 is completed but is not titled yet. Working on that.  All should be done next month. Also have a pile of watercolors I’m playing around with. Using colored ground, not white.  Flipping me around! That’s a good thing! I’m also lining up a show in Tacoma, tentatively scheduled for February. 2019 looks to be another awesome year!!

Cheers!!!
