CHEERS!!

MORE SILVER

This is a shot right after a pour. The paint is still very wet-wish it would stay just like that! Shiny! Loving how the cool and warm silver work together. Experimenting with Metallic Watercolor German Silver. It’s dry, like a powder and you mix it with water. In this pour, I just sprinkled it out of the jar, dry, on top of a wet pour to create texture. I forgot I had this stuff!! Funny what you discover when you clean up the studio!

AWARD

Definitely feeling the love this month! Tacoma Rising is an organization that supports, promotes and connects businesses in Tacoma.(Check them out here: https://tacomarising.com/ )

I have attended many events and support & love the important work they do. For their year end event, Toast to Tacoma, each board member had an assignment to choose a person in the community that had an influence or supported Tacoma in some way. And they had to come up with a title for that person. I was chosen by board member Jeff Wolff (check out his work here:  https://photowolff.com/ ) and the title he gave me was Creative Genius. What??!! When he presented the award to me he spoke about my work, helping him in his creative endeavors and how I inspire him. I am so flattered,I’m blushing!!
