THIS YELLOW IS SOOOO WARM This is a detail shot of a recent pour on the yellow painting. Very wet, you can see the lights reflecting in it. I cannot believe how warm this painting is getting. The more I add the warmer it gets. It’s almost done!

PASSION FOR TEXTURE

TEXTURE Loving this color combination….that peachy color I poured has tinted iridescent medium in it so it will have a beautiful, funky, metallic look when it’s dry. Can’t get enough of that underlying texture below the gesso either. Interesting things are happening after every pour.

YELLOW ON YELLOW ON GOLD Feeling the need to change it up for the new year. Been wanting to expand my color horizons….experimenting with yellow. Who knew how gorgeous yellow really is??!! And oh so many choices. Love it on the gold background.

GOLD POUR This painting is almost done! A few more layers of gold and it will be done. Hard to not overwork a painting like this-the first few pours were very complicated but ended up nicely. Now, I need to keep my hands off of the rest of it-that is the tricky part!
