PURPLE
Such a great color…what’s not to love about this fabulous color? I’ve used at least 5 different purples in this painting in a variety of mixes. So rich!
FILMING
Action! Filming a new painting from gesso to completion. The black gesso is still wet in this photo but will get mucho silver-see below! Hopefully I will have the video finished before year end-wish me luck!
SILVER & SAVE THE DATES
Threw all kinds of material at this first pour. You can see some of the detail-embossing powder, and chunks of paint. (Also have glitter but you can’t see it in this photo.) The paint was thicker than usual as well. Taking FOREVER to dry…meanwhile, there are a few events coming up. Dec 4th is the 1st Thursday art walk in Seattle. I will be participating with my solo show at Collins Pub/COCA from 5-8pm. Stop by for a look and a drink! Also Dec 6th is another Coffee Chat at Hotel Murano. I’ll be in the gallery from 10am-12pm.
